Metal Arch Building in Navasota, Texas

Sunward Steel Buildings, Inc., was the proud manufacturer and supplier of this pre-engineered steel building in Navasota, Texas, in January of 1999.

These days, the steel agricultural building sits on the grounds of the headquarters of B Weaver Apiaries, a local beekeeping business specializing in queen bees, package bees, established hives, bee supplies and premium-quality honey. In operation since 1888, the family-owned and -operated beekeeping business carefully selects the queen bees and package bees it offers for sale, resulting in unmatched quality.

In addition to operating a year-round store where customers can purchase equipment and supplies used in beekeeping efforts, B Weaver Apiaries also hosts several educational events throughout the year, including “Field Days” throughout the spring where locals can check out live hiving demonstrations taught by fifth-generation beekeeper, Clint Weaver.

Affordable Agricultural Construction Solutions

In addition to providing construction solutions for use in the beekeeping industry, metal arch buildings are ideal for a broad range of agricultural and commercial needs. Often used for equipment storage, feed storage, livestock storage, growing efforts and similar objectives, metal arch buildings undergo fast, easy erection in comparison to wood buildings, significantly reducing construction costs. This particular metal arch building serves as an important business asset for B Weaver Apiaries and has been an integral part of company operations for more than 20 years.

Known as the “Blues Capital of Texas,” Navasota has land in Grimes and Brazos counties, in east-central Texas. The community sits about 25 miles northeast of Brenham and about 40 miles west of Conroe.
