Pre-Engineered Steel Baptist Church in Rienzi, Mississippi

Sunward Steel Buildings, Inc. had the honor of fabricating and supplying this pre-engineered metal building on behalf of a customer in Rienzi, Mississippi, in March of 2006.

These days, it functions as a fellowship hall for Rienzi’s Hopewell Baptist Church, a religious institution with a nearly 140-year history serving the surrounding Mississippi Baptist community. An addition to the church’s existing building, this pre-engineered steel structure expands the church’s size substantially while giving parishioners more space to congregate, worship and host functions.

Affordable, Reliable Construction Solutions

Religious organizations frequently operate under tight budgets, and pre-engineered steel buildings offer affordable, easy-to-maintain alternatives to traditional wooden church buildings. Their prefabricated nature makes them easy and quick to erect, slashing construction costs, and they also do not require repainting, refinishing or other regular maintenance to maintain their aesthetic appeal.

Modern steel churches combine the strength of high-end steel with the architectural beauty of historic church buildings, and the end results are reliable, secure and long-lasting spaces where today’s congregations can come together and worship.

A small, sparsely populated community located within northeastern Mississippi’s Alcorn County, the town of Rienzi covers about one square mile. The community sits just south of Corinth and just north of Booneville.
