These days, the durable, reliable arch-style steel building functions as an agricultural property, offering year-round protection for valuable farm equipment including tractors, balers, plows, mowers, sprayers and similar machinery. In addition to keeping farm and agricultural equipment safe and protected from rain, snow and related environmental concerns, the building helps preserve the resale value of the farm equipment in the event the owner wants to sell any of it somewhere down the line.

Building Specification

Easy to erect thanks to its arch, or Quonset hut design, the steel building features premium-quality steel construction and stands 40’x60’ in size. The building’s arched design makes it particularly durable and suited for high wind and snow loads, and it is also inherently easy to maintain over time, requiring only minimal effort from the building owner.

Enclosing one end of the building are 548 square feet of 29-gauge Galvalume Hi-Rib panels, and that end also boasts inner and outer flashing, which helps reduce the formation of condensation, which can lead to mold growth. The other end of the metal arch building, meanwhile, has outer flashing. Additional project features include (2) stationary vents with jacks, (2) knee skylights and a 110-mph wind speed rating, the last of which helps the arch building adhere to local building code requirements while making it well-suited for life in the Midwest.
