Metal Farm Building in Wabasso, Minnesota

Sunward Steel Buildings, Inc., manufactured this astounding dairy farm building in Wabasso, Minnesota in April of 2001.

The Bernard Goblirsch Dairy Farm sought out a steel building supplier to support their dairy operations. The Goblirsch family made several headlines in local media for their unique designs in dairy labor efficiency. Their passion for dairy and attention to detail is just one of many reasons they received the highest honor of Farm Family of the Year in 2015 by Redwood County. Locals can read all about their proud achievements in the Dairystar Newspaper.

Building Specification

Sunward Steel took on the project of building an 80’x200’x20’ barn style structure for the Goblirsch family. The building was constructed with Goldseal materials. The timeless white siding stands underneath a galvalume roof.

As with any dairy operation, multiple entries and exits are needed to herd cattle and transport feed and materials. Therefore, Sunward Steel framed four 10’ Ridgevent dampers and 12’ throat galvalume openings, which housed five commercial walk doors. Inside the walls, visitors will also find 13 wall lights that illuminate the dairy operations.

This steel agricultural building and the Goblirsch Dairy Farm can be found at 21287 Garden Avenue in Wabasso, Missesota.
