Metal Golf Course Maintenance Building in Golden, Colorado

Fabricated by Sunward Steel in 2022 for Golden, Colorado’s Fossil Trace Golf Course, this open-air metal building now houses the public golf course’s mowers, sweepers, edgers and other maintenance supplies, keeping them dry and protected from the elements.

The custom metal maintenance building lacks wall sheeting in the front, making it easy for maintenance workers to access and move equipment in and out. Housing maintenance supplies in a protected space also helps preserve their functionality and lengthen their lifespan by reducing wear and tear that can result from exposure to the elements.

The roof, walls and trim of the steel golf course building all have Light Stone paint, giving the structure a clean, professional look while blending well with the natural beauty of the golf course and surrounding foothills. The metal maintenance building also has a high wind rating and roof snow load to meet Golden’s stringent building code requirements.

By giving the golf course a dedicated space for maintenance supplies, this metal building streamlines operations and improves productivity among members of Fossil Trace’s maintenance team. This allows them to provide better care for the course’s greens and fairways, creating a more attractive and eye-catching place for golfers to play.
