Established in 1972 by Danton Wirth, a one-time crop sprayer-turned steel building business owner, Sunward Steel flourished through the years as Danton used his small plane to spread the word about the business to communities throughout much of the American West. As word spread from coast to coast about the quality and affordability of Sunward Steel Buildings, so, too, did the size and scope of Sunward’s operations, leading to the creation of multiple factories that could serve consumers in all parts of the country.
