Prefabricated Steel Warehouse Buildings in Mona, Utah

Sunward Steel recently partnered with Rally Factory Rep Services, a leading provider of telecom infrastructure solutions based in Mona, Utah, on a pair of pre-engineered steel warehouse buildings.

Sent to Mona by Sunward in January 2023, the buildings meet the unique demands of Rally Factory Rep Services’ operations, serving as reliable, versatile spaces to manufacture or store products. Rally Rep’s manufacturing processes require rugged facilities with ample storage space for sensitive and valuable equipment, and Sunward Steel’s prefabricated buildings are a perfect fit, offering unmatched durability and design flexibility.

Both metal warehouses sit atop sturdy 4-foot stem walls, creating solid foundations that can endure heavy use and harsh weather conditions. Ash Gray walls complemented by Polar White trim, gutters and downspouts enhance the duo’s aesthetic appeal while giving the commercial property a modern, professional look and feel.

Distributed between the two steel warehouses are 15 doors and six window openings, ensuring easy access for employees and optimal ventilation during manufacturing. The doors allow for smooth workflow and seamless movement of materials, while the windows allow natural light to flood in, creating more pleasant, inviting work environments inside.

Both warehouses also comply with relevant building codes, enhancing durability and peace of mind for the owners.

Building Specifications

Both metal warehouse buildings boast rugged steel construction, with the first building, Building A, standing 80’x120’x20’ and Building B standing 50’x70’x18’. Overhead, each has a corrosion-resistant Galvalume steel roof with a slight 1:12 pitch, and gutters and downspouts along each building’s roof encourage drainage, helping prevent moisture from collecting on top and compromising the buildings’ integrity.

As far as doors and windows, the buildings contain the following between them:

  • (6) 5’x5’ windows
  • (7) 3070 commercial walk doors
  • (1) 6’4”x7’2”
  • (3) 12’x12’ overhead doors
  • (4) 14’x14’ overhead doors

Engineered for Utah’s variable climate and sometimes-heavy winter snowfall, both prefabricated steel warehouses also feature 115-mph wind ratings and 36-psf roof snow loads.

Part of the Provo – Orem metro area in west-central Utah, the city of Mona is part of Juab County. It sits along Interstate 15, about halfway between the communities of Santaquin and Nephi.
