Constructed using rugged, damage-resistant steel parts, the metal church has unparalleled structural integrity, and its Charcoal Grey-colored roof resists corrosion and has a 4:12 pitch.
Installed in the roof is an 8” layer of WMP-VR faced fiberglass insulation, which delivers impressive thermal performance and helps keep the church’s energy bills low while making for a more comfortable interior environment. The steel church also has (27) framed openings in a range of different sizes throughout, among them (8) 3’4”x7’2” walk door openings, (2) 6’4”x7’2” openings, (10) 3.34’x6’ windows, (6) 3.34’x4.67’ windows and (1) 6.67’x6’ window, ensuring that the church gets plenty of natural sunlight inside.
The steel church also features a number of accommodations made with regard for the climate of Waldorf and the surrounding area. In addition to an 8” rain gutter along six different locations, the church features a 20-psf snow load and a wind speed rating of 120 mph.
