Steel Automotive Storage Complex in Post Falls, Idaho

Sunward Steel sent these five state-of-the-art steel buildings to Post Falls, Idaho, in June 2021, and they’re now part of a high-end automotive storage business. Known as Locked & Loaded Garage Condos, this unique facility caters to automotive enthusiasts who need a safe and secure place to store their prized vehicles.

Locked & Loaded isn’t your typical storage facility – rather than rent the storage units inside, consumers buy them, allowing them the freedom to customize the interiors in line with their unique needs. Designed and engineered to offer maximum protection for cars, boats, jet skis, snowmobiles, motorcycles and more, the climate-controlled metal storage buildings provide a safe, stylish and convenient solution for vehicle storage.

While the steel buildings serve a practical purpose, they also have a sleek, modern appearance thanks to Gray walls and complementing Charcoal roofs and trim packages.

Storage Unit Amenities

Each unit has special features designed to protect and maintain stored cars and other vehicles, helping them stay in prime condition and ready for use year-round.

Each unit has a smart thermostat to keep the temperature just right, no matter the season. Each building also has 6” of R-19 insulation in the roof and 4” of R-10 insulation with VRR+ facing in the walls. All the storage unit door panels also feature insulation and weatherstripping to further protect the vehicles inside.

Dividing the automotive storage units are heavy-duty steel partitions with 4” of R-10 insulation installed inside. Many of the units also have firewalls between them for an added layer of safety. Some also offer drive-thru access, and buyers can modify the insides of their purchased units to include mezzanines, car lifts and similar features.

Spacious and versatile, most of the units also offer additional space for leisure items, with some occupants adding TVs, couches and other amenities to create comfortable lounging areas inside.
