Steel Storage Building & Lean-To in Silver Lake, Kansas

Sunward Steel sent the pre-engineered metal building kit for this rugged, spacious steel storage building to Silver Lake, Kansas, in June 2023.

Equal parts practical and attractive, the metal storage building has 2,400 square feet of column-free storage space ideal for housing vehicles, machinery, lawn care equipment or other goods while keeping them dry, safe and protected from the elements. It also has high ceilings that create additional vertical room for storage. An attached open-air lean-to on one side of the metal building provides another 300 square feet of covered outdoor storage space good for housing weather-resistant items that don’t require full enclosure.

On the outside, the building has great curb appeal thanks to Charcoal Gray paint and Black architectural trim that give it a modern, contemporary look. The roof of the building slants enough to allow rain or snow to slide off easily, helping protect the interior from leaks while preserving structural integrity. There are also gutters and downspouts along the roofline, further guarding against mold, mildew and condensation by diverting precipitation away from the walls and foundation.

Spacious, functional and low-maintenance, this prefabricated steel storage building provides reliable protection for the owner’s assets and valuables, protecting them from wind, rain, snow, pests, extreme temperatures and potential theft.
