Steel Mini Storage Complex in Orland, California

Manufactured by Sunward Steel and sent to Orland, California, in March 2023, these three prefabricated steel mini storage buildings are now part of a self-storage business.

Crafted to meet the unique needs of the self-storage industry, the buildings maintain a uniform aesthetic despite coming in two different sizes. Each sports Hunter Green exterior paint and a Saddle Tan roof and trim, blending well with the surrounding natural landscape, and the buildings have 40 storage units for rent among them, ensuring a steady revenue stream for the business owner.

The sidewalls of each building have Hunter Green gutters and downspouts, facilitating efficient drainage and minimizing the risk of water damage. The roof sheeting of each building also has DripStop pre-applied to it, offering an extra layer of protection against moisture buildup and corrosion. These features enhance the longevity of the buildings, and they also reduce the need for maintenance, saving the owner time and money.

 

Building Specifications

The three custom steel self-storage buildings come in the following sizes.

Buildings A, B: 30’x200’x8.5’; 0.5:12 roof pitch

Building C: 20’x200’x8.5’; 0.5:12 roof pitch

Each storage unit has a private mini storage door providing access inside, with the self-storage facility featuring (4) 8’8”x7’ and (36) 9’x7’ Saddle Ran mini storage doors in total. Engineered to meet local building regulations, all three structures also have 95-mph wind ratings.
