Sunward Steel Buildings, Inc., was the proud provider of a prefabricated equestrian arena and steel horse stalls in Albany, Missouri, supplying one in May of 2008 and the other in March of 2009.
The first building supplied undergoes use as a horse stable, while the second, smaller structure serves as a riding arena. Both buildings are part of the same scenic, expansive equestrian property, and both provide safe, all-season spaces to house or ride horses while protecting them from predators, extreme temperatures, rain and snow, and similar hazards.

Building Specifications
Comprised of rugged, sustainable steel parts, the (2) metal equestrian buildings offer unparalleled strength and durability. Once raised, the steel horse stable stands 75’x125’x16’ in size, offering the high overhead clearance needed to accommodate horses, and the metal equestrian arena is 35’x125’x12’ once erect.
Both steel equestrian buildings boast attractive, Cinnamon Brown-colored exteriors and Galvalume steel roofs with complementing Polar White trim. Both buildings presenting a purposeful 1.5:12 pitch that allows for an immense amount of unobstructed clear spanned space, perfect for all equestrian facilities.
As far as accessibility, the steel horse stable has (10) framed openings ranging in size. Found throughout the building are (4) 3’4”x7’2” walk doors, (2) 6’4”x7’2” walk doors, (2) 20’x12’ overhead door openings and (2) 24’x16’ overhead door openings. The metal equestrian arena, meanwhile, contains (5) framed openings, which include (2) 3’4”x7’2” walk doors and (3) 14’x12’ overhead door openings.
The steel equestrian buildings also have several customizations that better equip them for life in Missouri while keeping them compliant with appropriate building codes. The steel stable has a 90-mph wind speed rating and a 14-psf snow load, while the riding arena has a 90-mph wind speed rating and a 20-psf snow load.
