Steel Golf Course Storage Building in Crawfordsville, Indiana

When the owners of Rocky Ridge Golf Club in Crawfordsville, Indiana, needed a safe, secure place to store valuable equipment and protect it from the elements, they asked Sunward Steel to fabricate a structure to meet their needs.

Sunward Steel supplied the building kit for this modern and multifunctional commercial storage building in the fall of 2024, and it arrived at the jobsite already partially assembled, leading to a fast, economical construction process. Designed for heavy foot traffic and the environmental demands of life in west-central Indiana, the building keeps golf carts, mowers, tools and other inventory dry and protected from the sun, rain, snow and changing temperatures.

A wide overhead door makes it easy for employees and grounds crew members to access what they need, while the steel storage building’s clear-span design eliminates interior posts or columns, maximizing storage space inside.

The building’s flexible, open interior also allows for different storage configurations should Rocky Ridge Golf Club’s storage needs evolve. Unlike wood buildings, prefabricated steel storage buildings also won’t warp or crack over time, reducing time and money spent on maintenance. The building’s structural components also resist fire, pests and water, enhancing safety while preserving the storage building’s structural integrity.

With ample space for golf carts, equipment and other items used for course upkeep, this building gives Rocky Ridge Golf Club a spacious, secure place to store everything needed for day-to-day course operations.
