The Company

Aaron’s is a rent-to-own commercial chain with over 1,864 stores in the United States and Canada. The company was founded in 1955 and currently houses several types of products, including furniture, electronics, and appliances to name a few. Fun fact: Aaron’s set the Guinness World Record for the largest “game” of tumbling mattress dominoes in 2016. The game was set up using more than 1,000 people and mattresses.

Building Specifications

Aaron’s rent-to-own store located in Lynn, Massachusetts can be found at 210 Union Street. Sunward Steel Buildings was contracted to design a commercial steel building structure for this chain’s new home. The Rockford building stands 104’x72’x16’. The building stands out with misty grey tones and a royal blue roof. With plenty of room to move merchandise to and from the store, the building features 2 commercial-size walk doors.

The large door frames and open-concept layout make it easy for employees and customers to rent and sell large items, such as mattresses, couches, TVs, and more.

With the help of Sunward Steel, Aaron’s was able to open up another store location to meet the needs of Lynn, Massachusetts.
