Building Specifications

Energy efficient and easy to erect, this prefabricated metal equestrian building features reliable, long-lasting steel construction and boasts a finished, fully raised size of 40’x220’x10’. The building and its high overhead clearance offer plenty of unobstructed indoor space for riding and showing horses, giving equestrian enthusiasts from across the region a safe, all-season space to ride, groom or train their animals.

The metal equestrian building offers impressive curb appeal thanks to a bright White exterior and complementing Dark Green roof trim, and the roof itself is comprised of heavy-duty Galvalume steel sheeting and has a relatively steep 7:12 pitch. Installed within the roof is a layer of 3” WMP-VR faced insulation, which enhances energy efficiency, lowers energy bills and helps create a more comfortable interior environment, regardless of outside temperatures. The metal building also has 100 linear feet of Dark Green J-trim that help hold its siding in place.

The steel equestrian building also features a number of climate-related customizations. It has Dark Green eave gutters along two sides and 360 linear feet of matching downspouts distributed across 24 locations, which help prevent moisture from collecting on the roof and causing damage. Other customizations made in consideration of applicable building code requirements include a 20-psf snow load and a high, 140-mph wind speed rating.
