Building Specifications

Constructed using rugged, heavy-gauge steel components, this insulated, energy-efficient steel auto shop stands 50’x60’x16’ in size when raised, offering a wide clear span that creates plenty of space for vehicles. The shop’s high overhead clearance allows for the use of car lifts, and 3” layers of WMP-VRR faced insulation in its roof and walls help the auto body maintain comfortable temperatures, even in hot New Mexico summers.

Stone Beige in color, the metal auto repair shop maintains its exterior good looks while needing little more than an occasional power wash. Its roof is comprised of hardwearing Galvalume steel sheeting and has complementing Cinnamon Brown trim and a 2:12 pitch, and (4) framed openings allow building users and vehicles easy access inside.

Found throughout the auto shop are (2) 10’x10’ overhead door openings housing (2) 10’x10’ overhead doors, (1) 3070 walk door opening enclosing (1) 3070 walk door and (1) 14’x14’ overhead door opening containing (1) 14’x14’ overhead door. It also boasts several customizations that better equip it for life in New Mexico while adhering to local building code requirements, including a wind speed rating of 90 mph and a snow load of 24.5 pounds.
