The McCrery Family Farm in Campe Verde, Arizona is situated in the heart of Yavapai County within the pinnacle of horse ranch and farm country. The farm was in need of an equipment storage building to house horse trucks and trailers and other essential equipment for their residential equestrian farm facility. The McCrery’s contacted Sunward Steel to design a tall standing garage with just as much ample room for storage as for parking with horse and rider safety as top priority. The design request was for the exterior to balance and blend with the desert-like landscape but to still showcase a picturesque presence, and we delivered just that.

Maintaining its beautiful exterior for a lifetime with low maintenance, this gable framed, custom-designed steel building kit stands 20’W x 66’L x 18’H in size and has a broad clear span, making the most of usable space inside. Constructed from durable, premium-grade steel components, it introduces itself with a warm CoCo Brown exterior, with a correlating CoCo Brown canopy and a slight 2:12 pitch.

To combat the unforgiving Arizona heat and strive for a consistently cool building, they chose to have the structure insulated at the time of construction. Installed in the roof is an R-30 blanket fiberglass Opti-Liner System insulation package. This package secures a balanced interior temperature during the extremely hot summer months and will prove its cost-effective status with lowered cooling invoices from your energy provider; for the entire lifespan of the building. Sunward offers many different insulation systems & packages for all of our building kits and systems that adapt to various designs. Other inclusions and components include (1) a 3070 commercial walk door system and (4) 14’W x 16’H overhead doors.
