Building Specifications

Offering unsurpassed strength and durability, the steel building features premium-quality steel construction and stands 40’x40’x12’ in size. It features an unobstructed clear-span design, which maximizes interior square footage and space to work, while the building’s high clearance makes it well-suited for servicing or storing vehicles or other oversized toys, equipment or machinery.

Dark Green in color, the steel building features a matching roof and trim, and the roof has a 5:12 pitch, which blends well with the surrounding property. It also features (1) 3070 opening enclosing (1) 3070 walk door and several enhancements added to improve ventilation, including (2) 21”x21” wall louvers with pull chains.

Because Connecticut is prone to sometimes-heavy rain and snowfall, the steel building also features several accommodations made to help prevent moisture from collecting in places where it could potentially cause damage. Such enhancements include an eave gutter along two sides of the building and 60 linear feet of downspouts distributed across four locations. Additional customizations made on account of climate considerations and building code requirements include an 85-mph wind speed rating and a 35-psf snow load.
