Commercial Steel Building in Poplar, Montana

Sunward Steel Buildings, Inc. was pleased to supply this pre-engineered metal building on behalf of a client in Poplar, Montana, in October of 2006.

Currently, the rugged, low-maintenance metal building functions as the warehouse and headquarters for Fort Peck Tech Services, a tribal company that provides a variety of assembly and production services for the U.S. Department of Defense and the oil industry. Durable, economical, and engineered to hold its own in Montana’s sometimes harsh, unpredictable climate, the warehouse and corporate headquarters offer a functional, easily adaptable production and storage space and an efficient, accommodating work area for employees.

A Robust, Reliable Production & Storage Space

In addition to offering unmatched strength and versatility, the prefabricated commercial metal building boasts a broad, clear-span design with minimal obstructions, making it ideal for producing goods as well as storing them. Steel buildings have long been popular among business owners across Montana and the West, many of whom use them for storage, manufacturing, and other commercial purposes. With this facility, Fort Peck Tech Services is able to better accommodate its defense, oil industry, and other clients by allowing it to conduct all operations within a single location, enhancing quality control and improving communications.

A small, sparsely populated community located within northeastern Montana’s Roosevelt County, Poplar is home to the tribal law enforcement agency and courthouse for the Fort Peck Sioux and Assiniboine tribes. The community lies about 21 miles east of Wolf Point and about 6 miles west of Sprole.
