Sunward Steel Buildings, Inc., had the honor of fabricating and supplying this pre-engineered steel building with living quarters in Kamuela, Hawaii, in December of 2002.

Building Specifications

Comprised of premium, high-end steel components, the building offers both a residential space and a commercial one, giving the business owner a dual-purpose property where he can live and conduct business simultaneously. Once raised, the prefabricated metal building stands 50’x68’x24’ in size, and it features a broad clear span that maximizes space for inventory storage and high ceilings that further enhance functionality and storage capabilities.

Equal parts attractive and accommodating, the steel residential and corporate building boasts a striking, Dark Green exterior, while a complementing Brown roof sits overhead, protecting against the Hawaii elements while offering a 4:12 roof pitch. Other customizations include (1) 3070 walk door opening enclosing (1) 3070 commercial walk door system and an 80-mph wind load; the latter of which was an inclusion made in compliance with local building codes.
