Building Specifications

While both metal aircraft hangars feature heavy-duty steel construction, resulting in unsurpassed durability, they differ in size, with the first hangar standing 170’x200’x32’ in size and the second, 100’x100’x27’ in size. The first hangar can easily accommodate aircraft in a broad range of sizes, and it has a hardwearing steel roof with a 2:12 pitch overhead that protects stored planes and helicopters from the Montana elements.

The hanger boasts an attractive, Stone Beige exterior with a matching roof and Burnished Slate-colored trim, and distributed throughout the steel aviation building are (21) framed openings. Included are (14) 11’4” skylights, (2) 10’x10’ overhead framed openings, (4) 3070 walk door openings housing (4) 3070 walk doors, and (1) 130’x29’ stack doors that can easily accommodate larger aircraft.

The second and smaller steel hangar, meanwhile, stands 100’x100’x27’ in size once raised, and it, too, features a robust, reliable steel roof with a 2:12 pitch overhead. Ice Grey in color with a complementing Burnished Slate-colored roof with Roman Blue trim, the hangar offers ample street appeal, and it also features (2) framed openings; (1) 10’x10’ overhead framed opening and 75’x20’ opening enclosing (1) 75’x20’ bi-fold door.

Both metal hangars also feature several customizations made in adherence to local building code requirements and out of respect for the region’s variable climate patterns. Such accommodations include 90-mph wind speed ratings and 38.43-pound snow loads.
