Sunward Steel Buildings, Inc., manufactured and supplied this prefabricated steel brewery building on behalf of a buyer in Lisbon, Ohio, in May of 2018.

These days, the building functions as a brewhouse for Numbers Brewery, a Lisbon-based independent brewer that offers a wide variety of craft brews. In addition to selling its own blondes, wheat beers, IPAs and other products, Numbers Brewery maintains a revolving list of guest taps featuring selections from other local brewers, and it also sells beer by the bottle and can. Numbers Brewery also sells wine and has a fully stocked bar as well as a tasting room with a dog-friendly patio where guests can enjoy live music every Saturday throughout the summer.

Building Specifications

Rugged, economical and easy to raise, this pre-engineered brewery building stands 40’x50’x16.67’-20’ in size and features reliable, top-quality steel construction. The brewery has a broad clear span that eliminates interior columns, freeing up more space for tanks, fermenters and other brewing equipment. It also has high overhead clearance, providing even more room for equipment and brewing efforts.

Charcoal Grey in color, the steel brewery offers considerable curb appeal, and it also has a rugged steel roof with custom Black paint and trim. Offering easy access inside the steel brewpub are (4) framed openings ranging in size, among them (1) 3070 walk door with substructure, (1) 8’x8’ overhead door with full trim, (1) 10’x12’ overhead door with full trim and (1) 20’x10’ window opening with full trim that lets plenty of natural light inside.

The metal brewhouse also boasts several specifications added with regard for the climate characteristics of Lisbon and the surrounding Midwestern landscape. It has 6” snow gutters spanning three locations that help prevent water from collecting on the roof or near the building’s foundation. It also has a 30-psf snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating.
